Awareness, prevention and early intervention (APEX) Consortium, the University of Turku Research Centre for Child Psychiatry and the University of Eastern Finland Department of Social and Health Management organize a workshop on the evaluation of economic and psychiatric effectiveness of low-threshold mental health services for children. Recent study results on the effectiveness of digitally delivered mental health interventions in the treatment of behavioral problems, anxiety and depression have been promising. These results will be discussed in this multidisciplinary workshop.

The assessment of cost-effectiveness of treatment should have a significant influence on the development of the service system. The object of the workshop is to create a dialogue between mental health and economics researchers and users of knowledge. The workshop is specifically aimed at child and adolescent psychiatrists, economists, and directors of social and health sectors. Everyone interested in the evaluation of mental health services is welcome to attend.
